What do Joel Osteen, Bill Hybels, Rick Warren and Oprah "positively" have in common? age-positivity of course!  As Pastor Larry DeBruyn of Discernment Ministries shows us in his latest Discernment Newsletter; The "Occultization of the Evangelicalism"and positive thinking began with the "New Thought" movement in the late 19th and early 20th centuries (although the practices and principles which were derived from the occult have been around for thousands of years).  The newsletter thoughtfully threads the heresy from there to Norman Vincent Peale, to Marianne Williamson (one of Oprah Winfrey's gurus), to Robert Schuller, to Rick Warren, Bill Hybels and Joel Osteen.  Arguably the three most influential pastors in America if not the world (not to mention Oprah's wide reaching new age gobblygook).

Please click on the title and take the time to read the article in it's entirety and come back, as in the next few days/weeks, I will be doing video and written expose's on each of these prime-time players in the "Bewitching" of the church.
